Keyword Tool

When you are setting up a Google Adwords campaign you will need to target the people searching for your product/service.

So how do we do that?

Well when people are looking for a specific product or service, they type a phrase into the search engine, so if they are looking for a restaurant in london, for example they would type in that phrase. This is what we call keywords or keyphrase.

It is easy to search for the amount of monthly users searching in this term. What you want to do is go to the google keyword tool and type in the phrase. You will see a page where you can see the total monthly searches globally and locally for that phrase. So today 24/11/11 the total global search for Restaurants in london is 823,000 and locally is 550,000 Imagine just getting 1% of that traffic to your site. This is for one keyphrase, imagine now that you had ten, fifty or a hundred other keyphrases related to this.

Now you can see the potential of Google Adwords
